Ocean Grove Bed and Breakfast

History of the Manchester Inn Bed & Breakfast
______________________________________________________________________________________

Built in the 1870's as two separate Inns, the Manchester boasts Victorian decor and uniquely decorated rooms. Around 1925 the two Inns and the house on Bath Avenue, in the rear, were joined to form the current Inn, providing warm lodging in the Ocean Grove area. The spacious lobby features a Steinway piano and camel back sofas.

Additional Room Views

The wooden-railed main staircase ascends to muraled hallways. The halls feature hand painted New Jersey lighthouses on sandy beaches, silhouettes of Victorian families and the Inns collection of antique hand mirrors. The second floor features 5 rooms with private porches over looking the ocean. The Terrace, joining the two buildings, is an ideal spot to relax in peace and quiet. The third and forth floors are unique in design and character and have views of the Ocean, Auditorium and the Pathway.
